A Very Carphin Wedding
**All dates now taken for large weddings in 2019 and 2020, although more dates may be opening up soon.**
Carphin is the perfect destination for weddings. Set in 15 acres of private land, this captivating country house captures beauty and tradition, with all the modern comforts of home.
Whilst the owners Ian and Ruth, have a ton of experience in events, logistics, and all things 'love', they bring their passion, travels, enthusiasm and values to the wedding mix.
We also work with Papakata teepees to offer an amazingly unique venue, with range of different packages from a completely blank canvas, to everything organised in house. The choice is up to you (see below for more details).
What we Offer
Weddings are one of the only times in your life where the people you care most about, all come together to celebrate with you and your partner! It is one of the greatest occasions you'll ever experience and that spirit fun and happiness is something that drives everything we do.
Sometimes you want the freedom to do everything yourself, in a setting that is beautiful and unique, but with all of the amenities you want at hand. Sometimes you might want a helping hand along the way, or you may even one everything organised for you so that you can sit back and enjoy the champagne cocktails!
Whatever it is, we'll try our level best to do it, and make sure you have a blast in the process!
Highland Teepees
We are really fortunate to be working with amazing highland teepees to offer an exceptionally unique venue space in the heart of Fife.
The venue can hold up to 180, but will still feel cosy with 50, whilst being adaptable to nearly all requirements.
The venue also has its own bar, dancefloor, and sound system, with a kitchen area for caterers.

What will you host?
We love entertaining and Carphin offers a unique off-the-grid space for conferences, parties and events. With three reception rooms and 15 acres of land, we can offer you the perfect lux-rural location for your next big event.
Social
Carphin is totally perfect for birthday parties, anniversaries and graduation parties. If you want a private catered meal and a champagne reception, or to hire in a hot tub and take in the scenery with friends, then Carphin is the perfect destination for you.
In addition, with the new Loghouse due for completion in Summer 2019, you can bring in guests from all over to have a party of a lifetime.
Business
For off-the-grid conferencing and accommodation, Carphin is a real rural haven in the heart of Fife. Despite the peace and tranquility offered by the 15 acre private estate, you also get the added benefits of being very close to the A92, with easy access to Edinburgh, Dundee and St Andrews.
Entertain
Ever wanted to investigate a murder? With Blue Murder events you can do just that. Together with Carphin House, you and your friends can stay in the mansion, have a private dinner and investigate a real life murder mystery!*
